Finance Leadership
Program
Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is a functional management program for first attempt CA All India Rank Holders. During the first year, participants undergo 3 Finance stints across various portfolios. Each stint is 4 months long. Upon successful completion, participants are placed into a full-time role in their chosen area of specialization in corporate finance or any specific business of the Group.
Individuals who are all India rank holders in their first attempt at the chartered accountancy new course examinations as per the ICAI ranking can apply for FLP.
Hiring follows a two-stage assessment process:
- Online Aptitude Test
- Personal interviews
This training period is made up of 3 stints of 4 months each across the Aditya Birla Group businesses. All the stints are provided in Finance domain. During the first year, 2 of the 3 stints shall be in a line and/or plant location, 1 stint shall be a corporate stint.
- After completion of training, participants are posted in the manufacturing/services sector in unit/regional roles.
- Post the first role and based on performance, skill sets and career aspirations, FLPs may choose to take on a different role within the same business or diversify their industry experience by taking on a role in a different business.
- This role will be followed by further strengthening in the same area by continuing the same specialization in corporate finance or any specific business of the Group.

Structured Induction
An induction that gives you the opportunity to meet the Group’s senior most leaders and benefit from their insights and experiences. Furthermore, a chance to interact with the larger ABGLP community and learn first-hand from them.

Mid-year Review
Senior leaders of the Group will conduct a mid-year review of your performance to identify any course corrections required in your career path.

Confirmation Review
An end of year review conducted by the Group’s leadership team. The outcome of this review determines whether candidates will be confirmed as ABGLPs.
Post Year 1
Development Assessment Centres ensure that development plans are customised for each participant.
Behavioural and functional learning and development interventions matched to the ABGLP’s corresponding career stage to ensure continuous re-skilling and up-skilling.
Regular career conversations to help us understand your aspirations in order to align them with available career opportunities at the Group. Ideally, moving from one role to the next every couple of years to ensure breadth of experience across different sectors with a corresponding functional depth of experience.
