Upon successful completion and subsequent confirmation, participants are placed into a full-time role in a technical function with their respective unit.
Students in their final year pursuing a full-time B.E/B. Tech from select engineering colleges are eligible to apply for the ELP program.

Every ELP participant undergoes 1 year of training, which is divided into three phases:
- Phase 1: Plant induction and plant visits
- Phase 2: Technical training
- Phase 3: On-the-job training and projects
