Engineering Leadership
Program
Engineering Leadership Program is a technical management program for final year engineering students pursuing full-time B.E/B. Tech degrees. After joining the Aditya Birla Group in one of four manufacturing sectors, IE Cement, Metals, Pulp and Fibre or Chemicals, Fertilizers and Insulators, participants undergo training both on the shop floor, in the classroom, and digitally. Upon successful completion and subsequent confirmation, participants are placed into a full-time role in a technical function with their respective unit.
Students in their final year pursuing a full-time B.E/B. Tech from select engineering colleges are eligible to apply for the ELP program.
Hiring follows a 3-stage assessment process:
- Online assessment tests
- Group discussions
- Personal interviews
Every ELP participant undergoes 1 year of training, which is divided into three phases:
- Phase 1: Plant induction and plant visits
- Phase 2: Technical training
- Phase 3: On-the-job training and projects
Year 1 of ELP
Year 1 Post Training
Development Assessment Centres create custom development plans for all participants thereby ensuring a training and learning plan best suited to the individual's needs, wants, and requirements.
Behavioural and functional learning and development interventions matched to the ELP’s corresponding career stage to ensure continuous re-skilling and up-skilling.
Regular career conversations to help us understand your aspirations in order to align them with appropriate manufacturing career opportunities. The ultimate objective would be to impart a holistic experience within the manufacturing domain to all participants to prepare them for manufacturing roles of meaningful responsibility.
